OptoGait is usually sold in preconfigured KITS.
The most common kits are:  

• Kit OptoGait 1 mt. single
• Kit OptoGait 5 meters
• Kit OptoGait 10 meters
• Kit OptoGait extra meter

The 1 mt. Basic Kit includes:

• 1 OptoGait Transmitting Bar (TX) with integrated interface  
• 1 OptoGait Receiving Bar (RX) with integrated interface
• 1 Bag for OptoGait
• 1 USB A+B Cable 5 mt 
• 1 OptoGait Power Supply Adaptor
• 2 Webcam for OptoGait with support  
• 2 Stand for webcam 
• 2 extension USB Cable 5 mt       
• 1 OptoGait Software  
• 1 USB Flash Drive with manuals, video, pdf and other material

Of course, but in this case perhaps it is better to buy the “OptoGait Kit for extensions” which already includes the right adaptor and the trolley for multiple meters. 

The webcam, which takes up to 30 frames a second, makes it possible to film the athletes while they are doing tests. The images, automatically synchronized with the numerical data and graphics, will be saved in the database and will always be available for analysis or comparison. OptoGait supports up to two Webcams and the software supports only particular brands and models supplied by us (as the hardware and drivers must have particular features).
 

Version 1.3.20 (included) and later:

By default setup installs the first database (OptojumpNext.sdf) and configuration file (OptojumpNext.exe.config) in the folder "Documents" of the current user.
The video files (.asf/.avi) and the report images (.bmp) are located in the subdirectories video and image.

Depending of the language and type of Operating System (XP, Vista, Windows7) the folder could be named:
Windows XP : C:\Documents and Settings\<YourUserName>\My Documents\Microgate\OptoJump Next 
Vista/Win 7: C:\Users\<YourUserName>\Documents\Microgate\OptoJump Next
 

Versions BEFORE 1.3.20

If you paste this exact path in a Explorer address bar, you will taken in:

Windows XP : C:\Documents and Settings\<YourUserName>\Application data\Microgate\OptoGait

where <YourUserName> is your windows logon user name 

Video file (in .asf format viewable with Windows Media Player) are stored in: 

XP : C:\Documents and Settings\<YourUserName>\Application Data\Microgate\OptoGait\Video
VISTA/7 : C:\Users\<YourUserName>\AppData\Roaming\Microgate\OptoGait\Video

Images files (in .bmp format viewable with Windows Paint) that are saved with the still-frame analysis tool are stored in:

XP : C:\Documents and Settings\<YourUserName>\Application Data\Microgate\OptoGait\Image
VISTA/7 : C:\Users\<YourUserName>\AppData\Roaming\Microgate\OptoGait\Image
 

When you create a new blank database (or when you import an .ojn file in a new database) you will be asked in which folder to place it.

For a better "isolation" of the video and still images related to that database, you should create a subdirectory (folder) and place there the empty database.

Example:
Create in a certain position of the disk (the root of C: or in My Documents) the folder MyTests.

Within this, for every new database, create a new folder. In this way, each database with files and video images will be contained in its own directory.

A “normal” desktop or notebook with Microsoft Windows 7 or 10 is usually enough to run OptoGait software without problems. Please run Windows Update before the software installation.

Minumum requirements are:

OptoGait needs Microsoft .NET Framework  (automatically installed from our setup if not found on the pc).

The software is officially supported ONLY on Intel PC with native installations of Microsoft Windows (from win 7 to Win 10) and not in virtual environment.

OptoGait software was developed on Windows Systems with the Microsoft .Net Framework. There is no native version for Apple OSX.

It is possible to run Microsoft Windows in native mode (boot camp) or in virtualized environments (Vmware, Parallels, etc.) on modern Apple computers. Therefore, the answer is YES

We've conducted tests on MacBook pro with Vmware Fusion with very positive results. Conversely, we have issues (dimension of the webcam image) with the virtualization software Parallels. We recommend using Vmware. 

However the software is officially supported ONLY on Intel PC with native installations of Microsoft Windows (from Xp Sp3 to 8) and not in virtual environment.
